I don't notice a difference and I most definitely don't understand the difference. I mostly stream while at work so volume levels are usually pretty low, so I have no complaints about MP3. As others have stated, I am merely happy to be able to enjoy all of this great music in any format at all.

My computer is my stereo and I download from various sites. I just got my account with speeding arrow, up to then, I did most of my downloading from I download the show and leave it seeding for a few days, then I archive it on DVD DL (waiting for blue ray). After archiving, I convert to mp3 using dBpowerAmp with the rate set as high as it goes. I haven't been able to tell the difference, but my girlfriend will be the first to point out the I am ruining my hearing by the volume I listen. All The Time. She Is Not Kidding. TURN IT DOWN! Its nice to have all my shows easily accessible on HD. I did have a 250gig drive full to the hilt with lossless, but instead of buying a new drive, I shelled out the $ for DVD DL and get up to eight shows on one disc.
